A benchmark of four AI gateways (OpenRouter, Vercel, Ramp and Keln) serving the same model over 3,360 turns each found large differences in behavior. Keln kept 94% of prompt tokens cached, versus 63% for Ramp, and moved conversations between providers 14 times compared with 500 for Ramp.
