Summary
Zephyr 4.5 adds TriCore and Hexagon architecture support, a QUIC transport with HTTP/3 serving, IPv4 forwarding and NAT, an MCP server, SPDX 3.0 SBOMs that record build toolchain and flags, and an experimental mpipe media framework. It also lists 178 new boards. The project reports up to 21% higher TCP and 12% higher UDP throughput, measured in a QEMU loopback benchmark, and 3 to 15% faster kernel tests on one STM32F412 board. Those figures are the project's own and could not be independently verified.
