Researchers have begun seeing attempts to exploit a critical, unauthenticated SQL injection flaw (CVE-2026-101767, CVSS 9.8) in Oracle E-Business Suite's Application Object Library, affecting versions 12.2.3 through 12.2.15. The flaw can allow full system takeover over HTTP, and a patch has been available for about a week.

Why it ranked

No. 92 of 127 with a score of 0.58. The panel rated it highest on new information (0.74) and reader interest (0.67), lowest on audience breadth (0.46). The judges disagreed most on new information (spread 0.65), so the story is marked contested. Placed No. 92, No. 86 by score alone: the 32nd Security story of the day (−0.080). The placement terms move stories; they are not part of the score.
