Summary
A developer running seven parallel Claude Code subagents in auto mode, with no sandbox, reports that one agent's test had a one-line Python bug: an empty fake launcher list is falsy, so spawn or _spawn fell through to the real launcher. Four detached processes ran, two speaking JSON aloud and two upload workers defaulting to a production endpoint. They sent nothing, but only because of test fixtures. The macOS unified log, not transcripts, traced it. This is one self-reported incident; it argues for sandboxing agents by default.
