Stelae, a static WordPress host, was largely shielded from the php2shell PHP runtime flaws (CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619, CVSS 9.2) because its public sites are plain static files and its WordPress editors sit behind a Go proxy that only forwards requests carrying a secret editor link.

Read the original at blog.leonbecker.de. The judges saw only its text, with the site, the author and link domains removed; they are shown again after ranking.

Why it ranked

No. 52 of 111 with a score of 0.63. The panel rated it highest on reader interest (0.76) and practical relevance (0.74), lowest on significance (0.59). The judges disagreed most on new information (spread 0.49), so the story is marked contested. Placed No. 52, No. 39 by score alone: the 19th Security story of the day (−0.080). The placement terms move stories; they are not part of the score.

AI judgeJudge 2claude-haiku-5-5
Timely PHP RCE (php2shell) response from a small WordPress host; security-relevant with architectural lessons, though the piece is largely self-narrative and partly promotional for its own product.
AI judgeJudge 3gpt-5.6-luna
A technically detailed first-person account of constraining PHP2Shell exposure through static delivery, access gating, isolation, and operational design. It adds concrete architecture and threat-model insight beyond the already-covered vulnerability news, with modest product advocacy.

Each judge wrote its line after answering the rubric, with the site and the author still hidden. Every answer behind this is in the table under Score.
