Progress has disclosed multiple vulnerabilities in its WS_FTP file-transfer server, including a maximum-severity flaw (CVE-2026-84295, CVSS 10.0) that lets unauthenticated network attackers steal sensitive data, including admin credentials. Fixed versions are 2024.0.7 and 2025.0.4, with admins urged to patch promptly, given past mass exploitation of similar file-transfer software.

AI judgeJudge 2claude-haiku-5-5
Security advisory for a widely used file-transfer product with a CVSS 10 critical flaw and many others; actionable for admins, but a vendor advisory with limited technical depth.
AI judgeJudge 3gpt-5.6-luna
A well-supported security news report detailing 14 WS_FTP vulnerabilities, including unauthenticated credential theft and command injection, with affected versions and fixed releases. It is highly actionable for administrators but concerns a relatively narrow enterprise product community.
