Summary
LZ4 v1.11.0 adds multithreaded compression directly to the liblz4 library, enabled by setting a single new field, LZ4F_preferences_t.nbWorkers, and producing output that is identical regardless of thread count. Benchmarks from the LZ4 project report near-linear speedups with more workers, plus faster small-block and dictionary compression.
