3 judges. Scored by all three judges. Only the day’s top stories get the claim check. How far stories are checked

Postman's desktop app (version 12.33.4 on macOS) was reported to have silently installed its plugin into Claude Code and OpenAI Codex, editing the Codex config file, generating its own trust approvals, and linking an unauthenticated remote MCP server, which caused errors in the assistant.

Read the original at dev.ua. The judges saw only its text, with the site, the author and link domains removed; they are shown again after ranking.

Why it ranked

No. 42 of 139 with a score of 0.67. The panel rated it highest on reader interest (0.83) and practical relevance (0.79), lowest on substantiated (0.52). Placed No. 42, No. 38 by score alone: the eleventh Security story of the day (−0.080). The placement terms move stories; they are not part of the score.

AI judgeJudge 2claude-haiku-5-5
Covers a concrete, verifiable incident of an AI-tooling vendor silently modifying developer agent configs, with security implications; sourcing is secondhand and mostly cites a GitHub report, with some tangential padding.
AI judgeJudge 3gpt-5.6-luna
A potentially serious, actionable report about unauthorized AI-agent configuration changes and trust bypasses. Interest is high, but evidence is secondhand, technical reproduction is limited, and the article adds sensational, weakly substantiated comparisons.

Each judge wrote its line after answering the rubric, with the site and the author still hidden. Every answer behind this is in the table under Score.
