The article reports that a general-purpose LLM, Sol 6.1, read, patched and wrote working x86-64 ELF binaries from raw hex bytes with no compiler, assembler, or disassembler. It recovered a real bug in FreeBSD's ministat and identified a malware sample by its contacted server.
