Threat actor targets Indian fintechs on weekends when defenders aren’t watching

India's CERT-IN has warned fintechs, payment providers and lenders of escalating attacks by a threat actor it calls CRAFTY FALCON, which it describes as AI-assisted. The group reportedly re-targets victims after incomplete remediation and times attacks to weekends and holidays, when monitoring is thin.
