Collabora's Faith Ekstrand announced that starting with Mesa 27.0, Mali GPUs with Valhall (v9) or newer will use Kraid, a new shader compiler for the Panfrost driver, which becomes the default in Mesa's main branch while Mesa 26.3 remains the last release with the old compiler.
