Why it ranked

No. 49 of 109 with a score of 0.65. The panel rated it highest on new information (0.85) and reader interest (0.83), lowest on substantiated (0.49). Placed No. 49, No. 37 by score alone: the 15th Security story of the day (−0.080). The placement terms move stories; they are not part of the score.

AI judgeJudge 2claude-haiku-5-5
Security flaw in a widely used AI agent product with a vendor refusing to fix it; a clear news report with some disclosure detail, though only an excerpt and limited technical depth are shown.
AI judgeJudge 3gpt-5.6-luna
A serious, timely AI-agent security vulnerability with reported disclosure history and organizational scale, but the excerpt lacks exploit details, reproducible evidence, and a confirmed remediation status; the headline may overstate cross-boundary impact.
